Happy Saint Casimir's Day!

March 4, 2021

The much-anticipated and beloved Saint Casimir's Fair has been affected this year by the global pandemic. However, instead of being cancelled altogether, it was moved to a virtual platform. The most popular products sold at the fair were heart-shaped cookies called "Kaziuko širdis" (the heart of Saint Casimir). Another traditional product was the bagel necklace. Many people also go to the fair to look at and buy various handicrafts and Easter palms made by folk craftsmen.

Eduana Baltic also celebrated Saint Casimir's Day with smoked lard, rustic sausages, pickles and a string of bagels for lunch!

At the same time, we would also like to wish a happy Name Day to those named Kazimieras and Kazimiera!
